BATH FURNITURE INTEGRATED IN THE DRESSING ROOM

MARTINEZ ELORZA, architecture and interior design studio, specialized in complete refurbishments, is managed by Elisa Martínez and Odone Elorza. Sensitive to the small scale and details, in MARTINEZ ELORZA each project is special and unique. The client is the protagonist and his personality is reflected in the final result of the house. «This project offers a unique distribution by placing a bathroom furniture within the dressing room area and outside the toilet area. The goal was to get an en-suite area with an integrated bathroom and a dressing room, but the lack of space did not allow us to get this traditional lay out.»

Urdiain is a little of town from the west of Navarra and located 47kms from the capital of the region. The chosen unit at this time, is a double deep drawer unit with framed door. This unit matches perfectly with the style of the room and the whole house itself.

«The bathroom with lacquered furniture was for two children, so I played with the colors in the tone of the ceramic herringbone, faucets, screen and accessories in black.I colored the towels and accessories to create a more fun environment and easy to modify as they grow. The purpose of this mix was not to lose any natural light». “We picked a lacquered unit for the children bathroom, so I played with colors matching it with the tiling and the black finish taps, shower screen and accessories. I chose live colors for the towels and accessories, since they can be easily changed as soon as the children start to grow up. We aimed not to miss a single beam of natural light. In this case, we have picked a wall hanging 2 drawer C1 Ithaca range framed unit, grooved handleless and RAL gray lacquer finish next to a black tap and mirror frame.

A bright house located in a privileged area near the sea in Zarautz (Gipuzkoa) overlooking the txakoli wine vineyards. A dream come true. A single-family house of contemporary and rational architecture in which the search for calm prevails. The concept of interior design on which we have worked at this project is based on creating a coherent style based on the value of the natural, simple and functional that knows how to convey elegance and timelessness. The house owners admitted that they were looking for a space where they could enjoy both the inside and the outside of the house . The relevance that the bathroom has acquired in the decoration projects is allowing the solutions and design of bathroom furniture to evolve. For this reason, the FRAMED DOOR of the C1 BASICS collection is a detail that creates a unique and warm style. A small formal gesture that manages to turn a minimalist and rational bathroom furniture into a CLASSIC-inspired aesthetic with a contemporary vocation.

On the lower floor of the house, sheltered by an entrance of light from an English style courtyard, the unit chosen for the guest bathroom has been a C1 Basics wall hanging single drawer unit, next to a hanging metal frame and a sit-on Fine ceramic oval washbasin . The warm touch is provided by a wooden framed mirror.
